To explore deeper into the world of life science, we completed a lesson on the components involved in growing a flower. We engaged with a video that broke down the roles that the sun, soil, water, and other outdoor elements play when a flower is developing. The video provided some of our students the opportunities to identify and practice specific outdoor vocabulary words with their AAC devices such as ground, outdoors, stream, park, water, and hill. Students worked together to apply the lesson to an additional activity and began the process of planting their own garden! We are excited to watch our seeds sprout. Can you guess what we’re planting?
